cut springs

Hey guys. Well i owe alot of money for my car and student ****. Anyways this weekend im cuting the stock springs until later i get money. Ill have pix up. I posted this to get ur guys opinons. Both good and bad. Thanks for all ur help

They have a set rate at which they compress and then expand for a certain amount of load. If you cut them and throw that outta whack then your ride will go with it. Good luck keeping it off the side of the road bro. Be safe.

dont cut the springs do it right, at the least just buy new springs that are dropped, get a rear camber kit and get it aligned. its the only way to go. cutting the springs will mess up yopur alignment which will cause your car to handle, ride poorly, it will fvck up your tires then u have to buy new tires, an alignment rear camber kit so in the long run its gonna cost u more if you cut it.

yea man.. if you're gonna do it, do it right the first time.. you'll save more money that way.. like mentioned above, if you cut your springs, you'll risk having to spend more money fixing the problem

i got my s tech for 100 bucks shipped from ebay. go for that one. dun cut ur springs. even though i use to do it, i won't recommend it because it ride bad and u'll bottom out a lot ruining the shocks, then more headaches

Dude don't cut your springs! My buddy did this on his 86 Camaro... rode like crap for the first week and then blew out his struts. He didn't drive like his life depended on it either. Don't do it! it cost him a lot more than a nice set of eibach's would have.
