Quick tip. On a FWD car, the easiest and most effective way to correct for just about any amount of oversteer is to simply add in more throttle. It sounds and feels counter intuitive but it works, and you dont need to add much, just squeeze the throttle a bit and the rear end will settle down.
Correcting for understeer is a little more abstract in that you simply do less of what you are allready doing. if you are on the brakes, ease off the brakes. If you are on the throttle, ease off the throttle... if you are turning, relax the turn a bit (if you can).

Most of the good tips have already been posted here but I had a great time and learned alot about my cars handling by setting up a short course in a parking lot and doing some laps in heavy rain. Every thing happens at a much lower speed so its pretty easy to play with sliding the car around without going 100 mph. Might be worth a try, especially to get used to your new swaybar. Its also handy cause tires dont wear as fast in the rain.

Be very weary of driving hard in the rain.... Every steering, throttle or brake imput has to be as smooth as you possibly can make it. any jerkyness and the car wont do what you are asking it to.
Personally, I love autocrossing in the rain.... its like tapdancing on ice.
