rubbing problem... any suggestions?

ok, so not too long ago i was rear ended.. like from top down. it was an escalade and he basically stepped on my on my rear left. I took the car to the shop and they said they fixed it.

I drive over bumps and my car rubs on the left rear. I thought it was the suspension. I told them to change it and see what that would do. It helped a little bit but what i found what they were doing, they were actually cutting my wheel well where it rubbed at. ok, so i just put eibach coilovers in, lowered the car to about 25", dont know how much of a drop that was, and took it out. It still rubs. All the other tires dont rub.

I was wondering, any suggestions on what could be wrong now? I was thinking maybe sway bar could be bent or something? Is there a way i can like put something on my springs so that it doesn't go down at all? and is there a manual or something that tells me what all is down there? like a disection of the suspension there? Any help would be great guys

There are a lot of componants that could have been damaged. Without looking at it or a pic it is hard to say. What about this shop? Your car was damaged and it was not your fault. You should raise some kane with the other guys insurance and the shop. You where the victom and are not satisfied. They will probably give you crap about the "modifications" you have done but your car was fine till the Urban Assault Vehicle ate it.

like the only thing i had on my car was the rims before the accident... i've sent my car back to the shop about 5 times. they don't know what else to do. they are clueless. i got hit in august. didn't get my car back till end of sept, and then sent it back more than once after that. i talked to my case handler dude/friend and asked if i could go somewhere else to get it fixed, he said their insurance doesn't allow it. so im pretty much s.o.l with that. i thought that maybe the coilover was bad but that wasn't it. im about to change the rear sway bar to see if that helps...

i'll get pics tomorrow when there is more light out. thanks for any help you can give me guys... if i can't solve this, i might just have to sell it and go get an s2000 or something...

well sell....would be good! but if you wanna take apart suspension components and reinstall... something could be lose! i mean with coilovers and lowering real far, if you hit bumps, coils will expand, i would say and clank sometimes. but i would say if it's louder than your music can drown, worry. but if something shakes while driving, or so get a another shop to appraise it! should be a free inspection or something. i mean pics will help a tonssss...post em up...then well say...!

and also, check your tires for wear on the fenders, or get an camber kit. adjust. and fix too maybe. i have a bent in rear 1/4 panel and the camber kit helped to clear my tires from rubbing on my drop!

EastBayStuntN is an unknown quantity at this point
im not sure which insurance carrier you have, but i have AAA and if i take it to any AAA certified shop and im not satisfied, they will let me choose another AAA cert. shop around or give them another chance to fix it for free.

i say remove all your modifications (minus wheels), and let the shop take care of the car problems. then once everything is settled, then you can go on and throw things on. that way, you will know for a fact its not the "mods" thats causing this maintenence trouble.
