had u ever thought? intereting issue...
have u ever thought of with a slightly longer wheelbase that em/es chassis has,
(103.1") compare to the rsx(101.2"), with the swapped suspension from rsx or maybe even a similar suspension setup would our car has better handling than a rsx?
it is just a thought that i had. tried searching but no one really talks into that issue. or even tried doing it and give a review.
btw, for those who had swapped rear disk and have a lx like me, do you guys think that the 40/40 proportioning valves from a Integra RS would work because i looked at the valve and it seem to be doable. i ask this question because i read through many pages of swapped disk but no one covers this issue. and the ori lx proportioning valve is 80/20 i believe.(correct me if i'm wrong)
anyone have any comments? idea? corrections?

i just read an article yesterday about a race team that ran dc5r all year and had better times all year this year with the es chassis and the k20a. they said that the longer wheelbase made a better track car. interesting that you brought that up. now if i could only find that article
i brought it up coz i read that in TOVA in this article that was brought up by dru a couples of days back. furthermore they (es/em/dc5) all share common platform.

therefore i think our cars are great in every part except the engine part. and the suspension, well, let's say that though its not double wishbone like previous years civics, it does handle great with a great coilover and a tokico, which most autocross junkie would agree.
furthermore ppl who say that the old ej or ek is better should understand that the aftermarket support for them is way greater than us poor em/es. but understand this, the body of em/es stock is at least 40% more rigid than ek/ej. which i can't remember what is the website of it, its from car & driver.

sound's like a pretty interesting idea there...im no suspension guru either, but the P valve idea does sound doable if not worthwhile. keep us posted if you plan on giving it a shot.

We have some advantages and some dissadvantages Vs the RSX...
We're lighter and have a better weight distribution.... but we have smaller wheel wells so we cant fit as wide of a tire as they can...
As far as the longer wheel base, that will make the car more stable then the RSX, but thats not nessisarly a good thing when it comes to compitition.
