dimples in sunroof

Okay, I have read the threads prevously posted by Acekicker and Boilermaker1 about the chasis flex and it causing dimples in the sunroof. I heard honda makes a front tie bar and lower brace for our cars and want to try them, but when I search on majestic honda for my 2001 ex, I find no such parts.
I also heard that the ex comes stock with the tie bar is this true? I thought the only brace was the tanabe sustec brace or neuspeed x brace and the d3 double x brace?
I am also pretty sure no one makes a front lower tie bar right? I just need a little clarification after reading those threads.
Lastely, can anyone tell me which x brace will give me the most ground clearance? By the looks of it it looks like Neuspeed, but I don't know much about the d3.

There is a bar in the engine bay that is only on the EX. Search for Grey's post about it. Other than that there are no Honda parts.

There are not front tie bars because there is no where to put it. X brace is the best you got. Ground clearance is going to suck on all of them. d3 is a double x brace.

Why would having these parts stop the dimples?

by reducing the chasis flex, which was the culprit to the depressions in the roof near the sunroof.

^ it's chassis not chasis, please stop using incorrect terms, and sunroof dimpling has been noted for happening more on the early 7th gens, like... 90% of people that post of having dimples are pre 03 i think or pre 04, but maybe the 04-05's haven't been driven long enough, or as long to show the same effects, who knows.

whats your point?
I have an 01, and am aware that it is an earlier year problem. That wasn't my question.

The bars don't help... the front and rear will still torque the middle. The car is not much better than a Pepsi can, the big hole in the roof doesn't help. The bar honda stuck in is supposed to help brace that, but it doesn't do much if you start stiffening up the suspension. Weld the hole shut, thats about all you can do.

I have gotten two dimples in my 01 ex coupe, and I noticed it after autoxing in sept of 04. I had the DC front upper strutbar, DC rear lower tie bar, RSX type R 22mm rear sway bar with greys endlinks. Koni yellows, and nuespeeds race springs. So apparently that wasnt enough and it still made my roof bind a little on the sunroof.

You can have all the braces in the world and it will still dimple. I have no dimples and i autox...just luck of the draw.

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
that front OEM bar was only put on 02+ ex's i believe. so you will find the OEM performance front bar in those civics..

its kinda like honda didn't have rear sway bars in lx,dx, or hx in 01. only the ex's had a rear sway bar. every year has something diffrent to it. honda couldn't make up their minds.

Is it a bar that goes across the back of the engine?
