OK, let me see if I got this straight...
I have a 2001 Sedan. My left front strut is gone. How do I know; ride's bouncy, excessive wheel bounce, invertied(sp) tire wear, ect. But, this gives me a chance to replace/lower my car's suspension.
I've read some of the FAQs, and I am buying the parts I need, and someone is going to put them on for me, but I just want to make sure I have this correct.
I want an adjustable ride hight, so Sleeved coilover and true coilovers are the way to go, even though the latter is more expensive. When I buy the coilovers, for the best possible ride, buy shortend struts with the coilovers and replace them all at the same time. And to reduce tire wear if the car is dropped below 2 inches (which is the plan), even though not really needed, buy a camber kit (price?)
^^^Is that correct? If it is...is there a thread I can go to to see what coilovers/struts there are for my car, or can you post them here if there is not a problem with it?
Thanks in advance.

For sleeved coils, stick with Konis.
With full coils, they come with shocks...that is why they are more espensive.
Other than that...good job doing your research!

if you're just looking for coilovers for droping and purposes, i say go megan or like they said tein basics... difference is tein has a better rep. (quality i say is is about equal maybe a little beter from megan). with the megans it will include front upper mounts camber plates so you wont need the bolts in the front and also the dampening adjustablility for a stiff or softer ride. i tihnk they cost about the same as well. as for ride comfort... no personal experiance with the megans, but the basics ride nicely, close to stock. for your purposes, i's go megans for the camber plates and dampening adjustment. but this doesnt mean i'd use them personnaly for tracking. hope this helps
Well, like I said, my left front strut is GONE. I always wanted to drop the whip but I don't know Adam from Eve about it. I just know that I want an adjustable ride height and I want my strut repaired. Also, maybe a little street preformance, but not autocross. I need to know that if I buy, for example, the koni's, will I still need to replace my strut?
