to all teins basic owners
Hey guys I have my teins basic for over 2 years now , and today i noticed my rear spring is bit soft. I can push it down very easy without any major forces apply to it. I just want to know it is normal for all teins basic to do this or I have blow shocks? The front is stiff like mutherfuker and i can't even push it down.
basics are extrememly soft... they are more for looks and comfort... don't worry.. its normal. If you want stiff... D2's are awesome, specially with their custom spring rates, you can go REALLY stiff.. nissan guys use them for drift and street cars.

Would it be possible to buy a stiffer spring rate for my teins basic?

Yes you can get different springs, and you dont even need to buy them from tein... all you need to know is the lenght and the inner diamiter. Question is... can the Basic dampers handle stiffer springs, and are stiffer springs going to help you get what you want out of the car. I.e. what is the car being preped for?
I have basic for about 4months now and its doing great but just on my rear everytime i made a turn especially a left it makes this pop/clicking sound like once or twice...its annoying because when ever i have other people on the car they ask what the hell is that noise coming from. i think getting a basic is a mistake, should have spent like $200 more and get the superstreet.
