it seems my strut tower is bent because of an accident.. i was able to align it by jacking up the car.. should i tighten it as i lower the car back down?... pics..

Your bar isn't bent. The car generally hasn't be jacked for the bar to fit on. Some people don't have to jack it up, but most people do. Jack it up, tighten enough to hold into place, put car on ground, then torque to spec (33lbs).

hmm.. i guess i never realized that the strut towers arent the same...

It is kinda hard to tell. I would get it checked out to make sure there is no frame damage.

thanks... lowered the car back down and now gonna go for a test drive..it does look bent tho.. hmm

now that you mention it, that does look a bit off...i'd get it checked out...unless the accident was your fault....

seems ok after i drove it around awhile.. definitely noticed a difference..
