Out of alignment, or something else?

I think my front end may be out of alignment, but here's the catch. It went out in maybe a week. The car's been perfectly true in the 6 months I've owned it, but over the past week it's been pulling right. I also noticed that over the past few days, the steering wheel vibrates. Not the car, just the steering wheel.

I had the car up on jacks last night, and pulled the front wheels off. There's nothing amiss, visually. All the weights are in place on the wheels, tie rod is fine, CV boots are clean, no fluids anywhere.

It's not making any noise, just vibrating slightly and pulling right.

Any ideas?

Just need to get an alignment and balance your wheels.

or it could be just your tires? there might be some bulges or odd imperfections on your tires.....same thing happened to me just a week ago. I put on my steelies and it was fine....apparently, it developed a round bulge in the middle of the tires that caused it to pull to the right and vibrations.

If I had to guess on one topic, I'd say it's the tires. They're very low quality, I think they're even mismatched brands. I know it needs an alignment, but it's the vibrating that worries me. It's only the wheel that's shaking, and it shakes worst at around 20 mph. Above that it kind of lessens, but it's still noticable. Maybe I do just need new tires. Hell, maybe it's time for some new wheels, too.

pulling to the right = alignment is off

vibrating wheel = either needs balance or tires are bad. my stock crapstones would vibrate and make noise like crazy. new tires solved it. but yea balance it too cause on mine the weights keep falling off.

OK, it's official. One of the cords snapped in the front right tire, I think. There's a small bump that's causeing uneven wear, and, consequently, I need a new set of tires. Whoo hoo.

Glad you got it fixed.

funny reading these threads days later to see all the MISS information that people give out. buckshizzo & claudeboi were right on targetwith EXCELLENT information . The key was to read what he said in his first post....
but over the past week it's been pulling right. I also noticed that over the past few days, the steering wheel vibrates. Not the car, just the steering wheel.
IS a dead give away to his most likely cause.

Just need to get an alignment and balance your wheels.
Could be possible and likely had it benn something that gradually got worse over time maybe. But unlikely with an all of the sudden problem with pull and vibration

u say its pulling to the right?

ok have them do an alignment

your toe is off
WAY OFF... Toe wont directly cause a pull or adress the vibration

I had the same - had to replace my rotors - now shes back to new again
Not sure where this came from, maybe you read a different post?
