I had a set of 215/45/17 on my car and it rubbed all the time. I had a set of Ground Control's and they were raised all the way up in the back, and still rubbed when I hit a bump (especially if someone else is in the car). My shocks were fine as I only had about 10k-15k miles on the car when I put them on. I ended up taking my wheels off and getting a set of coilovers because it got so bad. Good luck, I hope everything works out for the best!
