I was wondering if anyone else might be experiencing this problem. I install AGX struts with prokit springs. When I hit major bumps in the road there is a banging of metal on the left side front. After examining all the parts, there was very minor scuffing to the hood (where the top of the strut might be hitting), and denting to the plate behind the rotor (not sure what its called). I think its the plate behind the rotor is hitting something since it was bent away from the rotor and looks like it was repeatedly struck, however, I cant figure what its hitting into. All I know is that the passenger side one is completely without a ding. Anyway, the strut is working fine and the mechanic said the suspension is tight. Anybody have a clue?

maybe you didnt ge the t washer that goes on top of the tube put back on, i FORGOT to install back on and i was on a horiBLE ride. plus check for shock absorber.
