Hey guys, I recently put 18`s on my 01 civic and now when i go over a bump in the road or when i corner at like 60-70km the streeing wheel starts to shake. Anyone got any suggestions before i bring it in?? Thanx alot.

thats how it is, it should be shakin when ur driving at like 130+km/h too

Did your wheels come with centering rings? if not you should make sure you have them on straight. try to tighten them by hand first then get them to the correct torque. Also you might want to check the tire pressure.

Also make sure you wheels are properly balanced.. u cant do it you self u got to take it to the shop. unless you have your own machine. But also when u get 18's and low pro tires.. the ride sucks more

I would say it may be either you balance as stated above or maybe even an alignenment

An bad aligenment wouldn't do that. Your wheels are not balanced right. Go to a good shop to get them balanced right. That should fix it.

I know your wheel will shake at high speeds if our tires are out of ballance but it happens when i happen to drive over bumps or pot holes or when i corner fast, other than that there good. By the way whats a centering ring???

Re-Balance your tires and get an alignment.
