preping car for coilover install
preping car for coilover install
What part of my car do I need to clean out before I hand it over to the shop to install my coilovers? I have an 03 hybrid sedan. I tend to carry a lot of junk and would rather just move it to where it won't be in the way then lug it in the house and bring it back to the car after.
Do they need to get at the back seats, the trunk?
Thanks.

yep, empty out the back seats and trunk. They might have a challenging time getting to the tops of the rear struts since you have the battery and electronics back there.
Edit: They may have to remove the back portion of the back seat to get to the rear struts. I just don't know. Mine just fold down but I know on the hybrid they are fixed.

remember weight affects the ride height. so keep it like you normally drive it. if you have them level it empty, then you throw all your junk and subs and gas in, its gonna sag in the rear.
