Rear Konis Face inward or outward???

Rear Konis Face inward or outward???
hey i wanted to kno if the lettering on the koni were facing inward or outward for the rear. Does it matter if it facing inward or outward?? I ask this because my driver side rear has a more fender gap then my passenger rear.
