A few of the front three shock tower brass screws on my civic 01 ex have been stripped. These 3x2 screws located in a set of 3 on each side of the car are attached to the shock tower assembly adn nuts. They are what are used to attach the front strut bar (for clarification). Well i have discovered a few of the screws (2 on the left side and 1 on the right) have been stripped. And now it is impossible to screw on the nuts. If you have any other better ideas I have decided i proabaly will have to replace them. Do you know where I could get some and also are they easy to remove have the spring has been removed for the shock tower assembly? Thanks ahead.

Go here: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...artsSearch.jsp
Pop in all the ride info and BAM!
select FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER from the drop down menu,
look at the pic find the illustration number in the list below and see the price.
heres the pic for a 2001 ex coupe

Also, please fill out your profile so people can help you better.
You didn't list your year, body type, model and so.
As for the spings; go buy or rent a set of "coil spring compressors".
It will hold the spring compressed while you replace the spring hat.
Be sure to keep it aligned like this:

You have to rip the whole front suspension apart to get those out. If you're going to lower your car, you might as well do it now.

Just tighten evenly on each side.

No need to compress the spring too much.
Just enough to wiggle the spring hat and to keep it from flying at you when you take the nut off.
