these are all within my budget, but my question is which one is the best for me? im looking for something that has great handling for its cost, but not something extreme or mediocre. i have tein s-tech springs. adjustable isnt the biggest thing to me but i guess its a plus.
i dont go auto-x so i dont need insane handling, just something to enjoy in the twisties but not have to push to its limits to enjoy (like stock ones)

oh and i was lookig on ebay, several members recommended it.....

Avoid GR-2 (like OEM)

D-Spec > KYB AGX > HP

Cons of HP is non-adjustability
Cons of D-Spec is price (great shocks and I have these)
KYB... well.. for the same price.. go for Tokicos...

Pros
D-Spec: Great Ride/No more bouncing around.. u adjust it to how you like it
I've never tried HP or AGX.. so dunno...

ive read that the koni yellows require me to disassemble the stock strut, screw that.

so is the tokico hp the same as the blues???
i think d-spec is lookin good to me, but if they are the same performance wise as the hp/blues than ill go with the blues cus i dont need to make my car any lower.

What? HP = blues...it is on Tokico's website
D-spec are not the same as HP, they are better. Shocks don't lower a car, springs do, so I am confused about how a different set of shocks are going to make your car lower.

i havent tried anything besides stock and the KYB AGX. i like mine becasue of the adjustabliity. they ride GREAT. i have them on the stiffest setting right now becasue i am lacking a front swaybar. and the car still handles great. and even with them on the stiffest setting its still not jarring. very smooth. i actually liked them soo much i also put them on my 96 TEG with tien s techs. the suspension it had on it was shot. i have the setting at #2 on the Teg and seriously they ride great. i like the adjustability too because sometimes i like to go screw around and i also use the car as my family car. so the ride has to be comfortable for the kiddo's and wifey, but i can also stiffen it up for me

yea i know all that, my bad tho... i thought they were height adjustable like some ive seen, next time ill look more at the pic.

hmmm sounds good, i like the idea of being able to adjust it for when i really wanna have fun. do they wear out quicker on the stiffest setting at all?
i might splurge on these and save for sways later.

i have had them on for a while and honestly they dont seem to wear out any faster. remember they are designed this way for adjustability. i just like having options. i mean if you need to take a long trip you can put them on soft, if you want to go play you can adjust them to be harder.

i have had them all.. all 3... well 4 if you include my tein ss.. but i love my d-spec... u can finely tune it so precise to the way u want it to feel it aint even funny... this is good cause u can have it just the way u want it for daily driving... then put it all the way hard for 1/4 mile runs... or full soft ( i only use this when i have my parents riding in the car.. feels almost like stock)

for track use KYB AGX adj. are the best. No over heat very quick answer with the settup i mount on the car, already try tokico, blitstein,tein and koni.... but the AGX give me the best i can ask for track use.

Full setup:

skunk 2 springs 2"1/4
KYB camber kit
KYB strut mount
rear and front lower arms
Front Progress 27mm Sway bar
Rear Progress 24mm adj. sway bar (comes with the tie bar)
racing end link kit front and rear

with 16" Spoon Wheel and Dunlop Direza 215/45r16 tires.

A sparco steering wheel with quick release

and the cars seems to be on rail.

But you know thats only my opinion, but for road use i dunno.But i live in Quebec and the road SUX! it feel like in bagdad.So a stiffer suspension setup is not the best.

i use my vehicle for mainly street or communting purposes. and with the shocks on the softer setting it rides amazingly smooth. much better than even the stock ride with stock shocks and springs

i think a lot of you guys, like the Tokico D-Spec, so i suppose they are good for dommestic ride use. i just bought a sedan 2005 for my girlfriend, so i think im gonna try them.
