ball bearings

yea well i bought a some stock shocks and some ground control so i could put to stock any time. but yea i opened up the box and fount some metal ***** or ball bearings in the box all scattered and the front left shock had some grease on it. so im guessing ball bearing fell out from it. just wondering if the ***** are in fact for the shocks. if so where and how do i put them back in. just want to know cuz imma put the shocks in tomorrow and dont want it to pop or make noise and then have to take them off again. thanx in advance. also what kind lithium or graphite lube should i use(brand?).

gipperkid is an unknown quantity at this point
YES! The bearings are part of the strut. That is part of the upper spring seat and the top mounting plate seats against it. When you turn your wheels, the top mount is stationary and the upper seat turns with those bearings. Just clean the bearings, pack some grease in there and reassemble them. Hope thats not too confusing.
