Thanks for the repost, i never saw the original.

And dammit... I got screwed. I bought my "teins" off ebay a few months ago. I remember seeing the tein sticker on the springs and thinking that was weird since it was peeling off. But I didn't think much of it. The box looked real, the part number was right... but I got fakes.

Explains the crappy noises I am getting from them.

So, where should I buy some authentic ones from?

Well now that I have been screwed by the seller AND ebay (since they won't cover me since it is more than 60 days since auction) I am going to get some real springs from a dealer I found nearby.

I might sell the fakes as long as someone knows up front they are fake and does not care. I'm not gonna rip someone else off.

Looks like I'm not gonna get my money back from the guy, so it would be nice to recoup some of it.

Nope still have not gotten my money back.

I contacted ebay about the guy and they wrote back that after investigating him, they find no issues. Ebay sucks. Of course they find no problems... the guy sells 1000s of items a month and they get a cut.

I filed a police report, a mail fraud report, and I have emailed him 10-20 times per day from several different email accounts. I haven't called him yet because I have not had time, but I plan to.

Meanwhile, I picked up my real Teins today from RZMotoring in Orlando. Seems like a pretty cool shop. What really gets me is that I paid $150 for legitimate springs and the fakes I got on ebay I thought I was getting a deal on total with shipping was $130. If I had known that I really wasn't getting that great a deal to begin with I might have looked at local shops.

Oh and after looking at the real springs there is a HUGE difference. They look totally different. Im putting them and my tokico hps on in a couple weeks. The fake springs have become VERY noisy lately.
