I just recivied a 3 piece sturt bar set from ebay, i have the rear and back strut bars installed but i dont know how to install the lower strut bar. This is on a 2001 civic ex.
theres to bolts that u half to tak out in order to install it. u have to watch the suspension becasue it is loaded and its hard to put back into place beause the spring is stil loaded. I did mine by bracing the bar with a jack. U might be better to take it to a place and have them do it. pm me if u need step by step

Would those torque settings for the two rear lower sturt bar bolts be:
Rear bolt that holds brackets and bushings on rear sway:
16ft lbs
or
Rear bolt that holds bottom of rear shock:
45ft lbs
from the faqs section

are you screwing into the shock? No.
For the brackets it is 16lbs. for the long bolts for the control arms it is 80 I think.
BTW it is not a lower strut bar. It doesn't connect the struts so it is a tie bar, not a strut bar.
All strut bars are tie bars, but not all tie bars are strut bars.
