koni yellow oil leak *pics inside*
i opened up my hood to find my driver front side koni yellow gushing oil. it was a clear liquid that splatted on my neuspeed strut bar and left dried oil stains nearby the uppermount area. it left a small puddle of oil as well where the uppermount sits. i can post pics if neccesary
im trying to figure out any possible causes of why this may have happened? springs are skunk2 coilovers lowered about 2" (8 thread sleeves down) and car was just daily driven. is this a sign of a blown koni strut? i really hope not

Thats cause they are not made to be lowered on. I have been having this problem since i got my Koni. if you want to have the car lowered you have to get them re-valved and the damper shortened. Don't tell koni you have the car lowered when you contact them or they might not exchange it. KONI struts FKN suck

When you send them back to Koni for warrenty work they will take the damper appart and find what broke... if it was a mfg Defect such as a seal going bad then they will replace it. if they find that its been bottomed out (user damage) then they wont.
and make sure you have the reciept!
