well tell them that you probably got a blown strut, when i lowered on springs, i noticed a knock, then when i went to coilovers later....it was a blown strut, one month later I got KYB AGXs...that what you might need to invest in.... or some new bumpstops. those might be gone. 1.) check for the bumpstops. 2.) see if you're bouncing to try and see if you want some new struts/shocks 3.) make sure NOTHING is loose. springs, mounts, bolts, etc

what springs do you have? stock shock are made for stock springs. it's alwasys better to swap them out with coilovers or springs. mine were blown at 40000 miles, but my warranty went bad at 36k, so i changed them after 15k miles later now i love the KYBs with Skunk2 coilovers. and what do you mean that is underground, it knocks.

how low is the drop?
Also they may have not trimmed down the bump stops.
This would give you that bottoming out sound.
also make sure that the four bolts are tight on the driver side strut.
If it is loose it make a knocking sound.
I speak from experiance on that.

i would say the problem is your spring isnt seated correctly allowing movement when the load is taken off the spring as it would be if the wheel moves down. try jacking hte car up take the wheel off and see if the spring is seated correctly on the shock. a lot of honda experience this problem with stock shocks and lowering springs. all the ones i have owned would come unseated on large holes. you can attribute it to the fact that the spring doesnt put as much tension on the shock to keep it in the correct position because of the decreased size in the spring itself.

when u turn the wheel do u hear clicking?...cuz the spring shock and upper mount might not be indexed right...that can cause a problem of knocking noises or clicking...it happened to me first when i was putting my stock strut back together...it didnt get indexed right so when i turned the wheel while the car was on jack stands it would pop...but now i've taken the suspension appart so many times that i dont have to worry about not lining it up

Any fix yet ? I have a small knocking sound when i turn left and hit small bumps.. It happened with stock springs and struts, and still have the sound with my aftermarket Tokico springs and struts.
I would really like to know the problem to this sound, looks like im not the only one. I went to Honda and they didn't know they said it migh tbe struts.. clearly that wasnt it, after I got mine replaced.
Someone figure this out please !!!
