knockin springs???
i would have it checked. you can take out the whole strut and spring assembly to ensure its done properly. i think there is a DIY here somewhere as well. there is nothing wrong with lowering a car if its done correctly

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the "tubeing" is already going bad. You can not put any tubeing on springs and expect it to last.
