most comfortable air ride level.

Well I just got my bags on this weekend and unfortunatly it is bumpy as hell. I'm riding at 40 PSI at the front and 80 PSI in the rear. What have y'all that do have air bags found to be the most comfortable level to be at? I can't go too low because of my sideskirts, but I was told not to "lock up" at my max PSI (150).

well, my cousin has a 91 intergra with bags, and too low, is horrible, it's like riding on blown struts and shocks with ebay coilovers. and too high is about ugh looking, but the ride at about 3/8-5/8 is ideal and smooth as hell! i loved it, but the low experience is fun sometimes...lol

best way is to ride with it at all different pressures to find the most comfortable for you... deff not all the way up or down... find out the best ride doing that then go get the car aligned at that height. btw what are you talking about 3/8, 5/8??? are you just leaving the 0's off the pressure for front/rear or what?

Heh... as bad as this is going to sound... I have no idea... I am basing my ride off my pressure gauge. Unfortunatly I'm not a suspension person at all... If you can explain a bit to me I should be able to tell you... All I know is right now according to my gauge I am riding at 80 PSI front and back. Now what that means in relation to what u all are saying, I have no idea...

I don't know what they're saying either don't worry about it... no1 is gonna be able to tell you what is the most comfortable ride... ride around at different pressures till you find what you like, and remember where the pressure gauge needle is. That will be your ride height, go get it aligned at that pressure and you're good to go. more than likely though the ride will be smoother with less psi in the rear because of the weight difference.
