Suspension Test

I have Tien SS on my 01 coupe. And lately I hear a slight rattle coming from the front driver side, I'm hoping the shocks are not shot. What is the best way for me to check and see what is causing the rattling or test/check to make sure the shock is not blown out. This would sick big monkey ***** if one of the full coils over suspension is shot. Any feed back would be great.

just push on the driver side front and if it bounces up and down without any dampening then that means your shock is shot.

Thanks for the info, I did that and it came back up but seemed pretty stiff. Was not bouncing without any dampening. Ok since thats checked, now I have to figure out what the hell is that rattle.
