New wheels/tires and rubbing issue
i'm getting FALKEN ZIEX ZE-512's for my car. 215/45/17. i think that size is the most perfect size to put on a 7th gen civic. i have an 02 civic Ex coupe, no mods done to it. it's not lowered so that size tire will be perfect and look the nicest. i don't really plan on lowering it cause i don't wanna have the trouble of hitting bumps or rocks or whatever!. i'll leave it the way it is. if i want a lowered look. i'll get fron, back, and side kits for it. but i don't think i even wanna do that. i can't wait!!!. i'm putting enkei mm2 (silver) rims on my car with those FALKEN tires. it's going to look sweet!
so your not lowering your car....and then putting rims on it, you realize that your car is gonna look like it has a lift kit on it, our civics look retarded with rims and not lowered..not like older model vics that look ok, well not as bad not lowered....i had skunk2 springs and i still had well over 1.5 in of wheel gap in front and almost the same in rear. To me even that looks silly so i upgraded and got new suspension, you have to do something about it to make it look better and putting a kit on it will not help the wheel gap, trust me you will see after you put rims on it
