Tein ss in winter....is it good or not ????
I have teins ss installed and winter is coming soon should i keep them on and raise the car back to stock height or should i go get some oem shocks and install those instead and take out the teins????
What are the disadvantages of running coilovers in winter conditions ????
Worst case scenario..............................what could happen????
Ps : If anyone has some stock shocks for sale ill consider buying them for a reasonable price

i ran mine in the winter in saratoga springs, NY so it wasnt too different.. i've been ot montreal in the winter.. it's pretty much the same..
they just got a little dirty.. hence, why i cleaned them off once a week.. wd-40 and a rag of some sort.. to get between the threads..

I don't have Teins or any coilovers yet, but I was thinking of getting Tein Basic and raising them up as much as it goes over the winter then lowering it in late spring when I switch to summer wheels (which I don't have yet either, lol)
Anyways, I read that they don't raise as much as stock height anyways, they would still be lower than stock but still better than plowing through every snow drift.
I didn't even think about keeping the threads clean, but I'm glad it was mentioned here, it's definitely something to consider.
Are you switching rims for winter? Cuz apparently you need to take at least the rear wheels off anyway to adjust the rear height, (or so I read).

Your looking at about a 1.1" right off the bat with the Teins. I take all my wheels off when i adjust the height, just so much easier.
