!!!!!!!!!!!!Need HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay, while installing my teins, I had to cut a few threads off my tie rod endlink, because it got burred up, don't worry, i still got enough threads for the cotterpin. But as I was cutting it with my dremel, the bolt got warm, and a little grease spit out, is this okay?
Im assuming it was because of the heat, but am I gonna run into problems? I need to get my car done, and the dealership won't be open tommorow, what should I do?
BTW, the boot is fine, no tears or anything.

as long as the boot isnt cut or ripped to badly you should be ok. i think when i installed my b&gs some grease came out but i had not ripped the boot.

i was cutting the bolt, at the end of the endlink. Grease spit out where the knuckle is, around the rubber boot. The boot is fine, im just wondering if i lost too much, and know there isn't enoug grease in there, and there is no way of adding more, there not repackable.

he heated the grease up too much and it got too liquidy and squirted out. If you feel you haven't lost too much then go for it. Just keep an eye on it.

Rob, how much do you think is in there?
What should I look for?
Is there anyway to repack it with grease?
I may have lost an amount the size of a quarter.
I haven't got an alignment yet since installing my Teins, but I hate to replace the tie rod if it will be okay....

theres more than a quarter sized amount of grease in the boot. i ripped mine before so i know. if you're worried, then you can just replace the boot and not the entire tie rod. this is the only way you can "repack" the grease in the tie rod.

Dailydriver is right. The only way to repack it is to replace the boot. Personally, I would rather replace the whole end because it is easier. I think you should be fine, but that is just my opinion.

If a little squeezed out and the boot is intact, then its fine. There's more than enough grease packed in there to keep the joint covered.
ya repacking sucks, ive played around with a few axels/tie rods on my old car, there is quite a bit in there so unless u had a small puddle u should be ok. if not, better safe than sorry and wait till u can take it to honda.
