Rep Power: 0 Airbags- Pro And Cons?
Im seriously thinking of getting an airbag suspension installed on my sedan, but first i need the advice of peeps who already have bags.what are the pros and cons of the airbag system? and not to be nosy but what kind of systems are you running on your cars? is it true if i were to get cylinders that my car would wobble real bad if i go at a high rate of speed? cuz i still want to haul a litlle *** in my car. all advice will be greatly appreciated.thanks

Rep Power: 322 no, bags cost twice as much as full coilover damper but the dampers are much better in terms of performance. Bags are just for looks thats all......

Rep Power: 0 Air bags are more than just looks, and a proper setup can yield better performance, as such is dynamic for the conditions. Such said, dialing in the right pressure/length at the right moment via an active or semi-active system isn't exactly trivial, and to do it right essentially means reengineering the suspension system.
If going with bags, use such to replace springs and supplement the struts, which one would want revalved to the characteristics of the bags (see comment above).
Unless you're willing to go through such lengths, don't consider it unless you're only after the looks.
-- Kane ... and yes, coilovers are a much more cost effective solution to performance. Why reinvent something which already works - the coil spring - right?
