alright quick question, (searched)
I have read the suspension FAQ and i am going to get lowering springs for the time being, eventually i will get struts/shocks to replace factory mcpherson's.
I am looking at the drop zone sport lowering springs it is a 2 inch drop. Is there anyone that has any experience with these?
I saw that there is someone selling dz coilovers for cheap would that be a better buy?
Any info would be appreciated. I have been reading all the faq's for the past 2 days. this site is a great resource of information.
by the way, I have an 03 civic ex coupe.

dropzones are ok, better springs would be eibach, HR, neuspeed. Goldlines and progress have received good reviews here. I wouldn't buy dropzones just from reputation, but I have no experience with them.

I'm in the same boat. I started looking into the Tien, but found out about their sagging probs. Robclark is right about thoes brands. They seem to be the top rated springs. I myself have chosen to go with Eibach Sportlines, riding on Tokico blues.
As far as the coil overs go... It's up to you. You need to decide what kind of "ride quality" you want to go with, as well as the performace. I chose to go with spring and strut. I didn't want to lose too much ride quality, but also be able to retain more of a performance responce out of my sus. Be careful of cheep coilover setups though. A coilover is a true racing suspension. Adjustable for track conditions, and driver preferance. A slip on coilover is just an excuse to be able to adjust the ride hight of your car for the winter.
They don't retain the performance, like a true coilover.
