Neuspeed Rear Lower Tie
So who has just the tie bar and not the sway/tie combo? I've been looking for a pic but can't find just the tie. Plenty of pics for the DC tie, but none for just Neuspeed tie. Just want to see how visible it is from behind the car.

Do you want to be visible or not? For $100, i would forget it and get a generic tie bar. But if you want to spend the cash on it, go ahead. You don't need it with the 19mm RSX sway.
It probably won't be too visible because it sits right on the frame. The DC one doesn't so it will be more visible. You are stock height (i didn't see a listing for springs/coilovers) so you would see it more from the rear than if you were lowered.

I know I've seen Progress ties when approaching Civics on the interstate and was just wondering if it was as visible since the tie looks like it hugs up to the frame. Plus I was trying to get some feedback for just the tie if it is worth the $100 like you said.
Could you please explain "You don't need it with the 19mm RSX sway." I thought the tie was to help stiffen the chassis which is always a good idea.

Yeah, my upgrade from the 19 to 22 would be with the DC5R.
Tell me about your x-brace. That seems to be a while down the road for me, just because of the cost for a couple of bars. Will it be worth it after replacing the shocks/struts and springs? I'm leaning towards the KYB AGX's and ProKits.

****, I haven't had the x brace on for a year now! haha. I should take that off. Anyway, it will significantly tighten up the front end and actually will induce understeer. It is a good brace if you have the rest of your suspension set up for oversteer.
Tell me why you are modding your suspension and I can help you choose shocks and springs. Good shocks and springs are always a good investment in my mind

I'm just looking for a spirited daily driver with the hopes of AutoX in the future. I don't want to lower too much so I like the ProKits. I want adjustable dampners and a couple of my buddies (Miata and older Civic) have the KYB AGXs so I thought I'd try them too. I'm just a little concerned about their limited availability.
Like I said, I have strong hopes of AutoX and if I don't plan ahead then the wife will really go nuts if I have/want to replace something.

Stupid question: If I were to purchase use shocks/struts and springs, I didn't say I was going to, would there be additional concerns for purchasing them from a sedan for my coupe? I would assume that the rear springs at least are going to be over stressed so therefore my rear would sag. Is this a correct thought or would the springs and shocks/struts rebound and not be an issue?

As for springs and shocks. Shocks are the same for both, you just have to figure out what shocks are right. (Konis you need to figure out if 50mm or 55mm, and 03+ have different mount hole sizes - this is all in the damper thread up top).
Some springs fit both coupes and sedans and some don't. The list of parts are in the FAQ.

But since sedans typically have a rear sag issue (due to the extra weight I believe) will that compress the springs more or even the struts so that when installed on a coupe the rear will sag more?
