Rep Power: 0 Correct Torque without an air tool?
I'm about to install my new shock and springs, so I bought a Hanyes Honda guide thing. Now would I be able to put the correct torque settings on my bolts with just my strength or do I need to use an air gun or something??? Thanks.

Rep Power: 400 Buy a torque wrench. They have 18" handles. If you can't get them on with that much leverage, you really need to hit the gym. There are very few bolts in the car that need an air wrench to remove.

Rep Power: 0 Ok I have all that, but can I feel how tight they should be with just my own strength? Or should I get an air hammer or whatever and use that to put all my bolts back on? thank you for your help.

Rep Power: 584 don't use air tools to tighten the bolts
i never use torque wrenches unless i am working on motors.....just tighten it by hand, but don't over do it

Rep Power: 0 i have a feeling ur gonna overtighten bolts.
overtightening is bad.
u need proper torque
torque wrench clicks when u get the desired torque..
anywho.. yeah i have a feeling ur gonna break like 3 bolts.. and sheer like the bolt on the tie rod.
oh well
