Its all personal preference. For me, my Sportlines are just the right height. I lost most of the wheel gap when I installed my 17"s, can still get over speedbumps and slide a floor jack under my car.
that looks like 2"? got some camber going on, but i like the way it slants and tucks into the wells more.
1.75" is a mild drop and sport drop as well. a 1.75" drop with stock wheels and suspension would prob result in 1.5-2 finger gap all around.

i have a 1 finger gap all the way around on my coupe.. i like it..
no problems with speed bumps, steep *** driveways, hydraulic jacks.. only problem i've had is hitting my x-brace at a car wash..

It's more like 3 inch drop.
I can't drive like that, mid pipe sits 1 inch away from ground.

FYI, prokit is only 1inch drop.

Edit: I like how the rear is sitting right now though. How about I put sportline springs in the front.

will someone please finally explain to me how people are able to turn when their cars are so low the front wheel doesnt have clearance to turn!?! does the car lift when they turn!?

The perfect drop is the one where the tire fits in the wheel well and there's even gap all the way around.

Another pretty good rule of thumb is to look at your rear lower arms. If they've gone past parallel and are now inverted (outsides above insides) the car is too low to be helping your handling cause.

Goldlines are perfect 1.75", no scraping on my driveway, can make it over speed bumps. Just make sure your exhaust doesnt hang really low. Mine doesnt scrape on anything. I have a 2.25" catback, dp, hi flow cat. My charge piping also sits about 2.5" below my front bumper. So its about 2" off the ground, lol. It doesnt scrape on anything though. Just learn to drive it lowered, and any heighth (sp?) will be perfect. My front tires have a finger gap, and the rears are just barely tucking tire, and my camber was set to -1, so they clear perfect.
hi,
I went to the local suspension store and they said 2 things:
1. With stock shock and camberkit, you can only get the pro-kit with 1" drop
2. To use sportline, you have to get the camber kit and new shock.
I know the people in this store are very careful about their work and consequences...
Do you think what they said was true?

The Goldlines are a 1.75 drop new, they will settle to close to 2.00 after a while. (trust me, I took measurements!)
"If you are carefull" you can ride a longtime on stock struts. At least long enough to save up enough money!
Anyone who drops their car "should" get a camber kit!(at least rear)
