Problem Installing struts today

Ok, so me and my friend decided that riding on two blown struts was just getting way to dangerous, and we decided to tackle the job of installing my tokico blues ourselves. Everything went ok, except on the drivers side strut, we warped the tire rod bolt that connects to the strut. Can anyone give us a good description about how to replace the tire rod end. It looks like there is a place to unscrew it about four inches back, but we just want to make sure. Right now the car is on jack stands and we need help asap.

Thank you!

Yeah basically you hold the tie rod with a wrench, loosen the jamb nut and remove the tie rod end. Obviously its easier said the done.

Count the threads on that tie rod end!

Replacing those front struts is already cause for an alignment, but you'd do yourself a favor by putting the new tie rod close to where the old one was.

Yes i will try my best to do so. Unfortunately i had some problems at home so i was forced to move out. So money is really tight. I just blew the motor on my friends talon driving one block to make sure my uncles shop did the work on his car correctly, obviously when i toldd them check the MSD ignition they did not listen to me. So i owe him money. Its just real shitty, but i'm trying to get by,maybe i'll get the alignment done this weekend if i can make enough money in tips. Grrrr i hate independance.
