Question Spring Recommendations For 17's

I'm planning on buying a set of 17" rims for my 2001 Civic LX 4dr. I'm thinking of just purchasing lowering springs and dropping slightly, but how much? What is the lowest I should go if I don't want to experience tire rub?

i have a 01' couple and sport springs installed on stock struts at 4 corners and it bounced so much i had to reinstalled the stock struts back on.some lowing springs dont gurrantee the drop height once they are installed,i dont know why but its true, when you decide to lower the car, looking forward to buy new struts in the future bcz they are not made to handle the coil pressure from the stiffer springs, i have kyb gr2 now and they handle much better than stock.
