Need help finding struts
Need help finding struts
My passenger side front strut is blown and i figure its a good time to upgrade.
I'm having the hardest time finding a decent deal on the Tokico HP's, and i'm also having a hard time finding a place that sells these shocks specificlly for my 2k1 civic. I used google and found many places that sell these but they didnt have my model listed.
Can you guys help me out by posting some links to where i can buy these struts at a decent price? I've been seeing over 100 a strut which is ridiculous.

That is about right. You will pay $400-500 for new tokico HPs. Live with it or ride on blown shocks.
Contact the vendors here, truehonda, dezod, namotorsports. THey are all listed at the bottom of the main page. Just because they aren't listed on the webpage doesn't mean they can't get them for you. PM them and ask them prices.

the last 4 are vendors off this site, your gauranteed satisfaction and service as they are known for that.
also keep in mind the tokico blues aka tokico HPs are made for the 2001-2002 civic models due to the fact that the 2003+ civic models carry a 16mm bolt on the strut while the 01-02 models carry 14mm. so therefore, tokico hps are 14mm. if you have 03+, minor drilling with dremel is required in order to install properly. downfall is warranty

Thank you guys for the replies, i've found them at 366 at yahoo shopping but i'd rather go for a trusted vendor on this site. As for the bolt sizing, i actually read that a few minutes ago so i was aware, but thank you for the heads up.

Rob is at Robear racing.
Control arm bushings you can get probably get from the vendors or at Jegs or something. They are not easy to put in. The fronts must be pressed in and the rears are DIY but not an easy DIY. I am actually working on making the rear DIY for streetglower.
I wasn't being sarcastic. I was serious when I said i was happy that you read the info because most people don't.
