rubber tubing on springs?
just bought the eibach sportlines and i'm wondering if the rubber tubing has any purpose...i'd like to take them off but i'm not sure if i should

Leave it. Its an isolator sleeve to keep the coils from knocking together.

i don't think there will much "damage" other than some paint scratching on the springs, but you will hear metal to metal noises... and i don't think u want that.

hmm it's just strange cause the rubber sleeve only goes around once... not the whole spring...just one round
