Are Ractive Coil Overs any good?
I am thinking of buying some Ractive 330491 coilovers for 01-02 civic. They are brand new in the original box, and i am wondering if they are any good.....
Alot of people claim Ractive is ****... but these look pretty decent....
Please let me know what you think, and if you recommend that i buy them.

yes you are right they are sleeve coilovers..... and i was also wondering how long my stock struts will last if i were to do a 2" drop with the coilovers..... I was told to get koni's + the sleeve coilovers for the best result.
All this aside..... do you think these sleeve coilovers by ractive are any good?

read the suspension faq about your struts/shocks etc. your stock shocks can last one day to years depending how your driving habits are.
ractive isnt known as a "reptuable" company that makes good coilovers, so i say their crap just like dropzone coilovers. not everything is good as it looks. ground controls and skunk2 are good coilovers to look at if u want sleeved. but if your gonna go buy shocks and coilovers, you might as well invest into full coilovers.

k fair enough "jttegx"...... i am aware that ractive doesnt make good products in general, however this isn't one of their low end products. But i am hoping that some member has already purchased the coil overs and can give me an opinion based on their experience
Also.... your comment that i am better off getting the full coil overs.....
The way i am looking at it is that i am getting koni yellows for $725 canadian and the ractive coilovers for $100 canadian.
So am i better off getting those two for $825 canadian or should i invest in the full coilovers which can run me up to $1300?
