Rep Power: 0 Comptech rear sway bar
Just installed the Comptech rear sway bar(without tie) tonight. The quality and fitment is excellent. I'm happy so far.
Just wondering how many people have this bar?

Rep Power: 401 I have it.... it doesn't break endlinks like the crappy Progress bar. So I approve of it. Comptech did their homework and made a bar that fits the car. Id you don't have a tie bar of any kind, I'd put something in, I just don't trust a 22mm bar unprotected.

Rep Power: 401 The swaybar is the same. The majority of the price of the combination is Comptech's incredible tie bar/cradle piece.

Rep Power: 401 If you're talking about the swaybar, its best to unload the rear end (jack it up), then you need a 5mm allen wrench, 14mm wrench (not a socket, but a ratcheting box wrench is wonderful for this, and a 12mm socket. Allen key and 14mm wrench on the endlink bolts, 12mm on the subframe bolts. Undo and redo.

Rep Power: 357 I dissaree about installing the bar with the rear end unloaded. If you have Adjustible endlinks I feel its best to install them with the suspension Loaded, so that you can adjust any preload out of the bar with the endlinks. Though if you are reusing the stock endlinks, then installing the bar with the suspension unloaded should be perfectly fine.
