tokico blues suck. just make sure to re-use thedust cover and dont forget to put the rubber mounts back on or else you will have to take the shocks back off in order to put back rubber pieces.

just to let you know, the tokicos are hella stiff. Way too stiff in my opinion.

Sounds like a nice setup, come back and let us know how it rides. The only thing that you may want to do is read over the DIY from Mex and depending on the year of your car, you might have to enlarge the holes on the struts on the steering knuckle.

I have them with Sportlines also. They're just a bit more firm than stock. It handles great. Sorry I don't have any insight as to installation; they were installed by a local shop. Good luck.

no modification needs to be done for tokicos if you plan on using on 01 civic.
Of course the ride did dramatically change, but the bumps are too stiff. Im using the shocks with h&r sport springs (1.3" drop). The drop is still too low. They are not bad struts, but I'd go with the better D-spec one for 200$ more. Now I regret not spending that extra for adjustables. My next quad of shocks will be the D-spec or Yellows.

hey, you couldnt beat an si if you have intake headers and high-flow cat. All of those will rip your 7th gen with just intake headers.

The Tokico blue's don't suck that bad. For a little over $300 I'd say they're worth it if you're not trying to become a super autocrosser. I have the sportlines and blues and I thought it was a good investment. It beats driving around on blown shocks that for sure!

Agreed. You know, it really depends on what you use your car for. If it is an everyday driver, or you don't want to mess with changing settings on your shocks, don't have time to adjust your coilovers, etc., the Tokico blues are a great alternative. Install them and enjoy them. Much better ride and reasonably priced.

Actually I havent tried my stock shocks when i lowered my ride using h&r. I did both spring/shock upgrades at the same time so I wont have to do it all over again when I got my shocks and springs. If I used the blues when at stock height, Im pretty sure the tokicos wouldve been way better. But since my ride is lowered I dont the exact feeling.

Let me tell you one think though, tokico is really cheap on the lifetime warranty.

I think that you mean 14 MM wrench not a 14 inch wrench, and if you are killing the struts just wait till there out to take the nut on the end off and grip the shaft with a pair of pliers ( since youll be killing them anyway) and yeah TURN THE CAPS THE HELL OFF!!!!
