tannabe springs

i got some used tannabe springs that i want to put on my 04 civic sedan.
i think the drop is like 1.5"
anybody here got any experience with tannabe springs, or used springs (any kind of springs)?
they were used for about an year, no rusting and no cracks.
also can u tell by looking at the springs if they will sag or not
thankyou

Tanabe springs have a pretty decent rep, and being a Japanese company, I would imagine they're made for the sedans as well (there are no 7thgen Civic coupes in Japan), so sag would likely be minimal. If there is no rust or damage to the springs, then they should hold up just fine.

If you plan on only replacing the springs and nothing else for a while you're gonna regret it in the long run trust. Make sure you get shocks or a full coil-over/damper kit.

^^true, the stock shocks will not last as long. But if anything you will have enough time to save for some aftermarket shocks and get those put on later on.

You'll be ok with just springs for a little bit, but after a while your suspension is gonna get really sloppy due to the worn shocks, so sloppy you'll be very annoyed, and you're going to find yourself wanting to buy a nice set of performance shocks and by the time that happens, you're gonna wish you had just done that to begin with.
