Squeaking Noise Coming From Spring..
Everytime I drive my car I keep hearing a squeaking noise coming from the front right side like when ever I over little bumps or little holes or the rail road tracks, bumpy roads etc... I think is either the spring or shock do you guys know what that may be?
i get it in the rear of my car when i drive, igot b&g and im finding out tomorrow so ill let u kno. and btw, he said something about how the car is new and how the suspension is rubbing up and u just need to oil it and stuff. but that was just looking at it he said, but he didn't really do anythign yet. they'll fix it tomorrow tho.
i have coiloverand the lil alen screws to keep the sleevefrom movin loosened and hit the springs, making a horrible noise like something was dragging,so if u have them just take um off. also when i turn i get squeks and i just sprayed the pirtches with white lithium grease and that worked for about amonth, then the rain washed out the grease,so if any of this helps cool other then that, i dunno cuz i have only dealt with coilovers on the cars i worked on
On my non-7thgencivic, my springs squeek when you sit in the car. In my application, it is the spring's coils rubbing against each other. Another source of a squeek was the polyurethane swaybar bushings needing lubrication.

TSB isn't like a nation wide recall notice...more like minor issues that have been reported numerous times, so the dealer should fix it at no cost to you.
