So...i need some help...
I just went to put on a type-S swaybar today and i ran into a problem. One endlink bolt came off fine. The other one did not. In the middle of the removal process, the hole where the allen key goes into stripped. Is there anything i can do to get this bolt of so i can put on the new bar?? thanks
Same thing happened to me. There is a washer looking piece attachted to the end of the bolt right before the black rubber part. If you can get some vise grips that lock on that washer thing it keeps the bolt from turning and you can get the nut off that way. Another thing you could is to just get a new endlink from Honda its like $13 and some change. Then instead of messing with the stripped bolt just take out the nut from the bottom of the endlink and replace the entire endlink, but you will need to get a new nut for the top bolt because the endlink doesn't come with new nuts.

yah, i've heard both ways when just using the type-S bar. hopefully i'll get this on soon and then get some endlinks from grey. do you guys know if the type-S endlinks would work?
I believe the type-s endlinks are the same but dont quote me on that. Recently I've heard that the larger OEM bars (i.e. type-s, ITR, and even some of the even larger sway bars designed for the rsx)are ok to use with stock endlinks. I believe the other members that snapped their stock endlinks had progress sway bars which puts the endlink at a different angle causing more stress where as OEM ones dont. IMO with anything bigger then 19mm you should get upgraded endlinks just to be on the safe side.

you don't need to upgrade your endlinks with a 19mm sway. If the RSX ones can handle it, then so can ours. They should be able to handle a 22mm bar, but not the progress one because of its design.

hey guys, one more question. when putting on the new sway bar, is the bolt that holds the sway bar on the endlink tightened down all the way...as in no movement of the swaybar. i cannot remember if it was or not.
yes tighten the nut all the way down. I the bar will move like rob said. I'm not sure how to word this but I believe the movement he is referring to is how the bar moves with the endlink ball joint? which is how its designed to work.
correct me if im wrong.

aight, just put it on and took it for a little spin. it's not as dramatic as some people have said, but i do notice more oversteer than before. Overall, for 50 bucks...it's well worth it. thanks for all your help
are you still on stock tires? I had stock tires and didnt feel that much of a difference. I put on some bfgoodrich g-force sport and even with the 25mm stock front my *** end likes to come around every now and then. Some my say its just because of the tires but I think its the combination of tires and sway.
