Loud cracking noise from coilovers

Loud cracking noise from coilovers
Today I readjusted my coilovers.... I raised the rear up and couple inches. Well, I took my car for a test drive and every time I went over a bump a really loud cracking sound came form the rear suspension. It sounded like plastic was being crushed or something...... everytime the rear got compressed over a bump that loud *** cracking noise came out.
Anyone know what it could be?
