$250 for alignment!
I went to a shop today, called Turbo Performance Center, to find out how much they would charge me for alignment/camber/toe/ etc. The guy quoted me $250 bucks! Seems like a little much, however they work on nothing but Porsche cars. Looks like I have to find another place that does alignment on lowered cars. Any suggestions?

Adjustable camber usually gets charged by the hour since its pretty time consuming (every time you change the camber it changes the toe, changing the toe changes the camber), so some shops will charge you lots to do it. If its a porsche shop, chances are they're set up to do racing alignments and its gonna be really well done, but you're gonna pay for it.

damn all of you are getting ripped off except riley, but what the hell is kick alignment angle?
It also depends on what kind of alignment you are getting. I think that shop quoted you on the alignment for a porsche, I pay $0 for my alignment, I paid $90 at first for lifetime ones. And my car is lowered and I have a adjustable camber kit.

All these prices also depend on how stupid the people are who align the cars. I was told by one shop one time that it would be just $40 to aadjust the toe and another $40 to adjust the camber, and another $40 to adjust the caster in the front. Also they would add on another $50 because the car was dropped, and it would make it harder. That is all BS. It is easier to align our cars when you have a front and rear camber kit. Our camber kits our alot easier to adjust then alot of cars who use shims and eccentrics on the control arms in the rear.

Is mostly correct, Our shop dont charge extra for anything like lowered, excotics, or even lifted trucks. Only possible extra charge is if something else is needed to be done to make it adjustable ( rusted adjusters, kits installed to make it adjustable )

You got to be on the look out, otherwise they'll rape you.
