one inch drop
one inch drop
I want to put a one inch drop on my civic, but was told by one of the guys at the shop that I should also get new shocks. Will a one inch drop affect my camber and my stock struts and shochs? I had read that a drop over an inch and a half will start to mess things up.

Did you read the FAQ??? It has it ALL clearly laid out in there!! READ IT!!!
1) any drop will weaken your shocks
2) 1" or above probably won't be so bad
3) it is suggested to get a camber kit and shocks to save yourself from blowing shocks or ruining tires, but a 1" drop shouldn't be that bad. You decide. Everyone will tell you different things.

Eibach's Pro kit is designed for work with stock shocks and struts I believe.. that would be your safest bet other then the FP kit from Honda. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong thx.

so are the tein S-tech's, but that doesn't mean your shocks still won't get weak. I mean they get weak regardless of lowering, but lowering does it faster.

Eibach and Tein S. are ones that will work with the stock shocks a little more but doesn't mean they won't get weak like Rob said. Camber kits aren't neccessary but it is recommend in the long run.
