Attention to all those 03 installing b&g...

if ur gonna install it, make sure u got 01 upper mounts, 01 bearing rings, and a 5/8 i do believe drill so that u can drill the holes larger on the coilovers so that the bolt fits into coilover cuz the 03's have larger bolts and 01's and the coilovers are smaller. the 5/8 fits perfect if u drill it. now im slammed pics up soon

You def. gotta get pics up soon. I just ordered my B&G's from Jeff at Street Level Performance. My car is an 03 also and I'm glad that you posted this. I wasn't sure whether to get the 01 upper mount or not. If you can, please update on the drill size just to make sure. Ok, so referring to this chart, what parts did you order? All I ordered was 9, 10, 11. If there's anything else, please let me know.

Instead of drilling, I just replaced it with the 01 bolt size as well (14mm according to hondaautomotiveparts.com). I guess Im just too cautious about the drilling idea.

2004 bolt size: BOLT, FLANGE (16X62) and NUT, FLANGE (16MM)

2001 bolt size: BOLT, FLANGE (14X67) and NUT, FLANGE (14MM)

i was thinking of changing bolt size, but that would have play cuz the stock bolt hole is huge and the b&g is real small. so just take the drill and drill it to size and then it will fit snug and no play at all. worked fine for us. took 5 hrs tho, 2 people and a trip to homedepot. lol got it done tho.

dvsdara, u buy 2- number 9's and one 10 and one 11 and it will work. thats what i bought from that exact site. took a week cuz they had to order a upper mount from honda, so give urself time to get it. actually 5 business days.

Yeah, 2mm difference is really critical. Just as altering the structural integrity of the suspension.

I dont experience any play since its been torqued to specs. *cross fingers*

Sweet, so I don't need to order anything else then. I placed the order this morning. They use FedEx 3 day shipping from RI. I'm in MA, so I hope it won't take too long before they get a hold of it and ship it. As long as it comes in before or the same time as my B&G's. I can't wait to get this setup on.

I was looking at all of that too. I was thinking maybe I should order the bolts but decided not too know that our cars are bigger than that. So I'll just drill it to fit. It's not too much modding compared to the Konis I have.
