Dropping with hayames...back go any lower?
Hey everyone, ok i just installed my hayames and im happy with what i got except the back still seems pretty high, i think i put it the lowest it can go but im not too sure, anyone know how to make it go lower? theres still like at least an inch between the tires and the body...
slammedblueem2, had the exact same issue as you. he went thru so much bull for his suspension parts. he had an 02 ex coupe if it mattered.
let me make a short story short:
hayame coilovers were the hotness when it came out
few members here had problems such as doesnt go as low or other minor things
some returned them for replacements due to unsatisfied lowering
hayame version 2 came out (plastic isolators were now rubber, which i think was a bad idea... the design was different) <--- these were given to the ones who returned the v1's because it didnt go low enough or if they mistaken with the rsx springs on the coilover instead of civic
hayame v2 gave the exact same height as v1 (for slammedblueem2, maybe couple other members?)
people finally learned their lesson "you get what you pay for" and hayames were unpopular
theirs many threads based on hayames and the problems with it search up "hayame" and you'll get plently

Mike from UrbinImport has mentioned there is a 3rd revision of the Hayames that work perfectly fine. The fronts have been adjusted and the rears are fixed with the height issues. So maybe u could ask for a new set of rears.
