Personally- I am always willing to pay a little more for something in which I will have customer service or whatever that is top notch and if I have a problem, they will handle it for me and not just say "that sucks".
But thats just me.

Okay guys, can we stop arguing about who is right or got the better deal? All that matters is we all are interested about the B+G coilovers.
I have a 2004 Civic coupe and I've been eye-ing these coilovers for sometime now, and wasn't sure if they would fit properly on an 2004 civic. I know that there is all this thing about the '01 upper mounts needed, but is that it? Isn't there more? I guess not that many ppl have 2004s with B+Gs on them, but yesterday as I was skipping through this thread, mr.518 just received his B+Gs for his '04 civic. I don't know what point I'm trying to get to you guys, I guess I just want to inform you guys about my situation.
Anyways, 518, you said you were gonna update about the '04's application with the B+Gs and take pictures. I can't wait for that! I'm not trying to say that I'm using you as a guinea pig to see how well it goes, but lets just say I'm looking up to you =)

The car is still in the shop, I will have to pick it up after work.
I dont have any other OEM parts to use but my own 04 parts. Like I said, the 04 strut mount is totally different from 01, 02 and 03 mounts. We'll see later if this would really matter on an 04 Coupe.
2-1/2 more hours...Im excited and scared...I hope there is nothing wrong with it when I pick it up....

If I could get it for $700, I wouldn't **** around looking for a price match. If my "buddy" or "friend" gave me a deal like that, then I'd be paying him instead of using him to get me the best price so I could find someone else to match it. IMO, that's just bullshit.
$700 is under 1/2 to retail price which is $1490 (as of B+G's website). Not even Hayame is stupid enough to sell their coilovers for under or at 1/2 retail price ($650--->$1100). Your #s don't add up.

1. Definitely needs an 01 ONLY top mount. Im still using my 04 top mount but the shop said it doesnt sit flushed. If I find it a problem, I can return it with an 01 top mount and will be installed for free.
2. I was watching the guy test drive my car. The suspension takes the speed bump very nicely at 5mph. Compared to the Hayame ones where even a 5mph on a speed bump, your intestine can really feel it.
3. This is way better than Hayame and is not even fair for B+G to be compared with Hayame's level. Someone said the ride is comparable with the Hayame, I beg to disagree.
No other modifications done other than the shop noted about the upper mount.

By the way, I was comparing the V1 Hayames to the B+Gs. Not the V2s which IMO seem softer but I haven't rode on those enough to give an adequate enough review. You could call them my impressions.

They said the same thing to me. But after 3 days, the B+G was at my doorstep. Even StreetLevelPerformance couldn't believe it. SLP thought it was back-ordered until the 2nd of August.
