So ony the much over hyped/priced spoon makes one eh? Probably runs in the $150+ range...
The problem with building one is that I can only do it at my dads shop, and I dont get down there but for a weekend every couple of months (They live in San Diego)

Robb.... You have the X brace right??? and didnt you say something about taking it off soon? It would be great if We could get some measurments off of it.
Ask Boiler, but I'm sure I could design one with Pro/E that couldn't be machined...
But seriously, if it's anything like the rear, I bet you could fab one up. Maybe if you came up with a design you could see if anyone else in the area has access to a machine shop.

Get me the dimensions and the diameter of the bolt it attaches to. I can rig something up.
Making a spoon knockoff is easy... their stuff isn't a marvel of engineering as I've discovered.

Sorry Spencer, took it off and sold it. What points do you need the measurements for? There were 4 bolts attached to it. 2 when into the front on the control arm and 2 went into the subframe.

The rules require it to be attached to the Control arms...
17.8 G.
Strut bars are permitted with all types of suspension. Strut bars may be mounted only transversely across the car from upper right to upper left suspension mounting point and from lower right to lower left suspension mounting point. No other configuration is permitted. Additional holes may be drilled for mounting bolts. Only bolt-on attachment is permitted.

Yeah, the x brace doesn't brace to the chassis like a tie bar does. Completely different holes. You need the holes that are similar to the ones in the rear, correct?

It shouldnt stick out any more then the Neuspeed X brace.... they use 2 of the same mounting points.
I assume that this is the proper mount location??

Gotta love Pegasus Auto racing supplies when it comes to fabricating suspension parts...

Found some threaded tube ends...

and Tie rode ends..

Now where to pick up some decent tube stock,
The mice are working over time now.

Ya, the photo is from when I changed bushings.
The only problem I forsee is that the bolt that I need is Recessed a bit, so It wont be a direct bolt on, but rather a bracket will need to be made.

K. I got some measurements. From the middle of the bolts it is 87.5cm across and you will have to recess it about 2cm.
