H&R or Eibach
Its me again, i have a chance to buy some lowering spring, and i dont know which ones to buy. The H&R ($150) i like because they lower the car 1.75" F, 1.5" R, but people tell me eibach sportline ($175) 1.3" F & R is better.

h&r ~1.3" drop
eibach prokit ~1.3" drop
eibach sportlines ~1.75" drop
First decide how low you want it. than decide on what spring brand. personally with 1.3" drop i would go with h&r. why because as other have mentioned they are both great springs except that h&rs are usually $50 cheaper.
If going with a 1.75" drop go with neuspeed sports. They're also $50 cheaper than eibach as well.

In regards to deciding how low to go......I have been looking at the H&R's and the Eibachs and such and i really like the look of the sportlines cause i'm trying to get away from the stock, large, wheel gap......but at the same time i dont want to have any trouble w/ rubbing/scraping or anything along those lines......so i figured i might go w/ the prokit.....but w/ that it still has a pretty large gap from what i've seen in pictures.....which would you prefer....and is there a spring that lowers like 1.5?.......thanks for the input..

My Sportlines are about 1.5" which is about as close as your gonna get to what the advertise. Keep in mind that the Sportlines are 20-25% stiffer then stock, and the Prokit is 10-15%. I've only scraped on one speed bump so far(it was a tall one) but I had two passengers with me.

well everyone's definition of low is different. To me low is having no gap/tuck. for a daily driver on stock shocks a 1.7" drop is perfect. Its low but not too low. you should really have no problems rubbing/scraping. I drive like a mad man and when i had the neuspeed sports, i hardly scraped. right now i'm dropped like 2.5" on 215-40-18s. I just got new tires and i rub in the front but with my old tires i didnt. so yeah yo definitely dont have to worry about rubbing.
well i have 17" rim with 205 40 17W's, so the tire is pretty small and there is a huge gap that makes the 17's look like 15's, so i think the sportline will be perfect with stock shocks. also the set of H&R springs are the older version, because they are a 1.75 drop in the front and 1.5 in the rear which gives it that sportier look. i know thw eibach sportline drop the car 1.3 all around, and the prokit 1", so these H&R must be the older or newer version, i dont know, the shop i am buying them from says ots 1.75F, 1.5R.

eh if they really are the 1.75" one then they were discontinued. Forgot why but i think it was some defect with it hitting something on the EX's... the h&r race should be the 1.75" and the h&r sports 1.3"(I think). but yeah again the race was discontinued
won the gap still be noticable, i mean i have thin tires, ive been thinking with going with bigger tires, maybe 215 40 17, (does those exist, dont know too much about tires)i was thinking the H&R, 1.75"F, 1.5"R
thanks again to all of yous for all the feedback.

if you want 1.75" go with neuspeed sports(cause like i said the H&Rs that are 1.75" were discontinued for a reason). I had them and they were awesome. I still had like a 1.5-2" finger gap even with my 215-40-18s but eh unless if you get aftermarket shocks its recommended you dont go any lower. i'm at 2.5" and finally i have no gap/tuck a little. with your tires you'd have to slam it down to like 3-3.5"
but yeah they do make 215-40-17. they even make 205-45-17 or a 215-45-17. i would recommend the 205-45-17 next time. 205-40-17 is too thin and 215-45 is too thick.

alot.. like 3"
. but then that would run around $1000 after everything and you would have to be very careful when you drive. stock shocks, go with neuspeed sports for sure... 1.75" drop. It the same drop you see in all my pictures. I would recommend race but I used to bottom out with those. But then again my friend has them on his car and he hardly bottoms out so *shrugs*.
